Evaluation of the Czech Republic's economic development in the past twenty years with a focus on international aspects. The study was prepared in cooperation with the Faculty of International Relations of the University of Economics, Prague.

Brief Contents

A brief analysis of the main aspects of the transition to a market economy and an assessment of the initial situation in 1997.
Identification and quantification of the most important changes in the Czech economy. It was mainly a detailed description of the development of foreign trade of the Czech Republic and its components in the structural and territorial division, including an analysis of the development of foreign direct investment. Outlook for the future, identification of opportunities and risks for the Czech economy.

Brief Summary

The Czech economy has been very successful.
However, our economy should more strictly diversify its focus (e.g. focus more on developing countries), help the growth of higher value-added sectors, place greater emphasis on education, and reduce red tape measures.
