Hello, my name is Milan Bednář, and I am an economist. Moreover, I currently work as an analyst, researcher and lecturer.
I have received the title of Associate Professor and the doctoral degree in Economic Policy at the Faculty of Economics, Prague University of Economics and Business.
Moreover, I have received a master's degree at the same faculty in the field of Economic Policy with a minor specialisation in Monetary Economics and Banking.
Currently, I work at the Faculty of Economics as an associate professor. I am engaged in research activities, lecturing, and other activities, among other things, I manage foreign internships of students.
In the past, I lived and studied in Australia at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.
Topics of my interest are macroeconomic analysis, the European integration process, economic policy and econometrics.

Preparation of Expert Analyses and Studies

I can advise you and analyse complex problems related to a given economic topic, or make relevant economic and statistical estimates. The areas of my professional interest are economic policy, European economic integration, and macroeconomic analysis. I have prepared a number of scientific articles that I have published in scientific journals or in proceedings of international conferences.

Lectures, Presentations and Performances

I am experienced in preparing, developing, and delivering public speeches on topics of interest. I regularly teach at the University of Economics in Prague, participate in international conferences, and have experience speaking in the media.

As of part of my doctoral studies, I deal with scientific activities related to thesis reviews/reports. I have experience in writing review reports for scientific journals, processing thesis reviews and more.

Teaching and Training

I have prepared courses (both in English and Czech language) which deal with macroeconomic analysis, economic and social policy, European economic integration and thesis writing. I am able to create a customised course or lecture.

What My Life Values Are

"Success is a blend of hard work and big dreams."

In today's world, we can observe a significant amount of deviousness, excuses, simple guides and "recipes" for success. Almost everyone would like to be highly successful but people are not willing to work the same way. When some person achieves success, they are stunned and ask how he/she has done it. That is why I believe that success is a blend of hard work and big dreams.

I believe there are no shortcuts. Good results are always and foremost the consequence of hard work, personal ambition and proper determination.

I am a conservative person, therefore I also emphasize sincerity, fairness and compliance with agreements. I strongly condemn hypocrisy and calculation. Last but not least, I appreciate punctuality and reliability, which are the qualities I follow. I am convinced that every person should work on improving himself or herself the whole life, both mentally and physically.

However, these words do not have the proper weight if you have not experienced it yourself. I believe that people should be judged by their actions, not just by pleasing words or populist statements.
