Master's degree (Ing.), Doctoral degree (Ph.D.), Associate Professor / docent (doc.)

My name is Milan Bednář and I specialise in macroeconomic analysis and economic policy. In my work, I combine academic rigour with an applied perspective on the economy, focusing on data interpretation, the construction of econometric models, and their practical application.

I work as an analyst, researcher, and university lecturer. My long-term areas of interest include macroeconomic dynamics, monetary and fiscal policy, European integration, and applied econometrics.
An integral part of my expertise is also the public communication of economic issues and their explanation to both professional and general audiences.

I am academically affiliated with the Faculty of Economics at the Prague University of Economics and Business, where I obtained the title of Associate Professor and doctoral degree in Economic Policy.
I completed my Master’s degree in the same field, with a specialisation in monetary economics and banking. I also gained international experience during a study stay in Australia at the University of Queensland. I view academic work as a means of maintaining analytical depth, discipline, and methodological rigour, which I subsequently apply in economic analysis.

What I Can Offer

Services

Services

Preparation of Expert Analyses and Studies

I prepare applied macroeconomic and economic policy analyses focused on current economic issues and decision-making challenges. The output includes data interpretation, the use of econometric models, and a clear summary of key findings and their practical implications. Typical areas include economic policy, macroeconomic developments, European economic integration, and related economic impacts.

Expert Lectures and Presentations

I design and deliver expert lectures, presentations and public talks tailored to specific audiences – from specialist seminars to broader public events. I place strong emphasis on clarity, structure, and linking data to economic context. I have extensive experience in university teaching, participation in academic and professional conferences, and media appearances.

Independent Expert Opinions and Assessments

I provide independent expert opinions and assessments of analytical, conceptual and strategic materials in the fields of economics and economic policy. My focus is on evaluating methodological soundness, internal consistency, data usage, and the relevance of results for practical decision-making. The output is a structured and accessible assessment identifying key strengths, weaknesses, and potential risks of the reviewed materials.

Teaching, Training and Tailor-Made Courses

I offer direct teaching, training sessions and tailor-made courses in both Czech and English, focused on macroeconomics, economic policy, economic analysis, and European economic integration. The content and format are always adapted to the target audience – from students to professional and expert groups.

What My Life Values Are

Philosophy

Philosophy

“Success is not accidental, but the result of sustained effort.”

In my work, I am guided by the conviction that high-quality outcomes arise from a combination of systematic work, long-term commitment, and clearly defined objectives. In economic analysis, there are no shortcuts. Meaningful conclusions require discipline, a consistent approach, and respect for data.

I place emphasis on rigorous analytical work, transparency of methods, and responsibility in the interpretation of results. I consider economic recommendations useful only when they are robust not only from a methodological perspective, but also in real-world decision-making contexts.

I believe that trust is built over time, primarily through concrete actions and results. For this reason, I strive to ensure that my work is clear, consistent, and practically applicable. It is grounded in analytical precision and objective interpretation.
