In the economic team of the Department of Economic and Social Policy of the Faculty of Economics of the Prague University of Economics and Business in Prague, in cooperation with graduates of the University of Economics in Prague who work in the energy sector of the Czech Republic, we have prepared an analysis and a proposal for a solution to the impacts of the Green Deal on Czech citizens and companies, i.e. in particular the impacts of the main EU economic instruments – the so-called emission allowances of the EU ETS1 system, which has been valid since 2005, and the EU ETS2 system, which has been approved for validity since 2027.
