Last week, I had the honor of receiving the Faculty of Economics Award for the best publication in the field of social impact of applied and contractual research.
Together with colleagues from the Faculty and in cooperation with the Czech Energy Alliance, we prepared a study focused on the economic impacts and multiplier effects of the construction of new nuclear power plants in Dukovany with the participation of Czech industry.
In the project, I was primarily responsible for the technical econometric part of the analysis – i.e. the quantification of impacts, the estimation of multiplier effects. I appreciate the award especially because it is research that was conceived from the beginning with an emphasis on practical application.
I thank my colleagues for their cooperation and the Faculty for the award.
